Description
He now turned his arms against Thrace, and succeeded in establishing his ascendancy in that country also. He now marched into Thessaly to aid the Aleuadae against Lycophron, the tyrant of Pherae. The Phocians sent a force to support Lycophron, but they were defeated by Philip, and their general Onomarchus slain.
