This is a. 9999 fine, 1/2oz gold bar produced by Johnson Matthey for the Republic National Bank of New York. This bar, and its sister bar, were both transferred to Ketchikan, Alaska in 1982. It is noted as such on the back of the certificate of authenticity, written in ink and signed for by hand.
